but, would you do (At PPH)
$149 theme view/no concierge, or

$169 no view/with concierge?

(I think I would have to pay $189 for view/concierge together - and not sure if I could get that as it wasn't mentioned by the CM).

Thanks again everyone!:goodvibes

Concierge all the way! I was not given a choice for view vs non-view so this is a little puzzling. My understanding was that you either got a view or a poolside/cabana room which opens onto a little patio. We chose this option which was nice, however the pool was closed which we weren't told until we checked in so it turns out that was a poor choice. We spent sleeping time only in the room so I wouldn't pay for the view option.

Concierge rocks! I'd choose a windowless room if I could have concierge! The best pastries I have ever had were at breakfast in the concierge lounge. Also loved the cheese platter and wine in the afternoon. Make sure you know the hours for treats so you can take full advantage of the perks. And don't be shy about taking extra waters and juice to the park with you. Just open the fridge up and grab it on your way out. I felt embarrassed at first, but it really is acceptable.

oops! Maybe I misunderstood then... does it make sense though that I could get a themepark view room with concierge for only $20 more than non concierge? (AP special rates)

I was so excited about the concierge upgrade rate that I called. The rates are:

city view - 129
park view - 149
city view concierge - 169

The 129 rate was unavailable and the concierge was only available with a king for my dates nov 30-dec 9.

Hope this helps! It is a tremendous deal! Put a courtesy hold on the concierge while you decide - it will be gone soon.

I had the same choice and booked the theme park concierge room for our dates, I think it is 189 or 179. It's a deal for concierge. )I am actually giving up the ent rate at hojo for the same time frame for 69 a night with a park view, but what the heck, I figure at these prices I have to try concierge at least once.

I figure with breakfast, drinks and snacks to take to the parks, and the wine/cheese and food in the evening, we will make up the difference in price.

We usually take a mid day break, so now it is all about timing....

That's a tough choice. The view is amazing but for $20 more I'd forego the view and do concierge with a city/standard view.

Concierge is well worth the $20 :thumbsup2

I had originally booked a view room at DLH for $169 then saw on the DIS for that same $169 we could get city view concierge at PP. I debated back and forth a bit because I do love the DLH, but I decided that for 5 people, there is great value in the included breakfasts, snacks, and drinks, and we could just go over and walk around the grounds of the DLH, we didn't necessarily have to stay there! When I called to change I found out that theme park view concierge at the PP would be $189, but I decided to keep the $169 since originally this was supposed to be a total budget trip, LOL! If your choice is $149/no concierge or $169/concierge, I'd say that extra $20 is definitely worth it, I just couldn't justify it when the only thing it changed was the view and I don't plan to be in the room that much anyway!
