the thought of my daughter .....no matter what her age is......sleeping in the philly airport.......she left orlando this morning at 8 am and landed there and has not moved........I am sure she is safe....but she is still my baby......and her hubby and two kids miss her too.......she is now booked AGAIN tomorrow for Maine

she was stand by and didnt' get on ......so now she is booked to fly to Laguardia and then home tonight......she said two days in the same clothes is disgusting.....she and quite a few others slept on the floor...she fell asleep in the rocking chairs and then they closed up that area and she had to go back thru security and sleep near her gate....she is soooooo ready to come home......

Of course you are worried ! There is no expiration date on that part of motherhood.

Heck, I am 54, and my Dad still worries about me LOL

what a tough night this will be for you. No matter how old they get, yes, you'll always be a Mommy. I know you brought her up to be strong and smart, so rely on that to give you comfort tonight when you are fretting. My Dad, Step-Mother and Step-Grandmother have been at Logan since EARLY this AM and just called and said they're spending the night at a hotel and going home in the AM; nixing their trip to Tampa as the funeral is tomorrow. Reasons like this are why I will never let my child travel alone I realise your daughter is a grown women but there are young kids who travelalone and can you imagine if they get stranded.

Pumba -- we fly out of Philly all the time, it is a nice, safe airport. There are no bums sleeping in the corners. There is a big, bright, mall area with these huge white rocking chairs. Lots of security. I'm sure it is not fun, but I'm also sure she will be safe. Take care.

I am so hoping that she gets home.......her hubby called me last night and he told her to go to a hotel......being in the same duds from four am ...oy........hahaha.........I am waiting for the call that they found her a seat on the plane.......thanks guys......you always sound so reassuring and the sun is out in maine.....that may help too....

she is on Maine turf ....her hubby and the kids went to get her and she is in much need of a shower and clean clothes......at least she is home......that is the main thing...so after two days in an airport......she is happy...
