I Know It's Still Early

Yeah, yeah the X-mas shopping season hasn't started yet.
I KNOW.
Sure for most of you guys it's not until after Thanksgiving, but it's already time here. It's ridiculously busy in the malls, yesterday I waited half an hour to try on 1 pair of jeans in AE and I had three people in front of me. YES. Three people, and it took forever. My friend waited about 45 minutes to buy a shirt and put a jacket on hold. We could hardly manouever around the stores, and people were talking about what they had and hadn't bought for their children yet.
So, as I'm going X-mas shopping next weekend and I'm already listening to X-mas music...
How early is too early to go shopping?
When do you go shopping?
When do you open your presents? (X-mas eve, Xmas morning, Xmas night)
Have any special things you do at Christmas?

My mom already finished Christmas shopping last week!

yea. the other day, my mom and I went to Kohls and a bunch of people were shopping for christmas presents. My mom normally has us write/type our christmas lists and we have to give it to her by Nov. 1st.

but i too am listening to Christmas music..

When do you open your presents? Christmas Morning
Have any special things you do at Christmas?
At Christmas, Grandmother's house, always -- and there's always Gingerbread cake and Crumb Cake.
BEFORE Christmas when my family is decorating the tree we have a Christmas movie marathon ( only the classics of course!!) and we'll have a "snack" dinner.

I've been shopping since the day after christmas sale last year. I buy things all year and put them up. It keeps me from rushing at the last minute.

I actually haven't been to the mall in awhile (GROSS I KNOW RIGHT) but it's probably already a zoo.
It so crowded where I live.

How early is too early to go shopping?: Mmm.. I don't think there is a 'too early'. If you get your Christmas shopping done in the summer, more power to you, and you don't have to deal with crowds.
When do you go shopping?: My mama usually does throughout the year and finishes up in the november-right before christmas time range, but I usually do in the middle of December.
When do you open your presents? (X-mas eve, Xmas morning, Xmas night): One present on Christmas eve, the rest Christmas morning.
Have any special things you do at Christmas?: Uh.. I dunno. Christmas-y-family things I guess.

Does anyone have a Symphony of Lights where they live?
It's so neat, Its like a bunch of christmas lights you drive through.

Theres this channel I have that plays christmas music 24/7, and I'm already listening to it, so you're not alone. :]

How early is too early to go shopping? I think it's ridiculous to start shopping before October. It's okay to pick up things all year long, but to go into mad dash, I must get everything before Halloween in ridiculous.
When do you go shopping? Usually after Remembrance day (the 11) but my parents try to get done a few weeks before Xmas. It's usually a work in progress.
When do you open your presents? (X-mas eve, Xmas morning, Xmas night) One on the eve, the rest in the morning and some more on Boxing Day. Though, we haven't done the boxing day thing for the past two years because it's always my grandparents presents, and as we were going to Florida in May when we usually stop down, we decided to spend X-mas with them.
Have any special things you do at Christmas? Decorating the tree. Driving around to look at Christmas lights our neighbours put up while listening to Another Rosie Christmas and we hide a pickle on the tree. Whoever finds the pickle on the tree gets and extra present. It's not a real pickle though. Last year it ended up being a scavenger hunt, and that's when we found out about our trip to Disney.
