I know it's early,but who's going in June?

We will be in DL from 6/4 - 6/8, after visiting Yosemite for the first half of the week.
We have only been once before and the castle, matterhorn and space moutain were closed at the time so this trip will be like the first time we have been to DL..

I totally didn't know about any press event,LOL that's too funny,last year we were there for Nemo but we did that on purpose for some odd reason. We didn't even end up going on,line was too crazy. Anyone hear of when the summer hours might begin? Ahh I'm so happy we're going again,I hurt my back over the weekend and am trying to make myself feel better by planning the trip

I decided to go back to school (not sure what I was thinking) and I will not be done before mid June 2009. I am taking my nephew on his first Disneyland trip to celebrate graduating.

It is painful to wait that long so I am hoping for many trip reports from all of you to tide me over for another year.

We'll be in CA from June 28th-July 12th. Our plans have us checking into Embassy Suites South on June 30th and checking out on July 4th, so we'll be in DL/DCA July 1,2 and 3. Maybe the afternoon of June 30th, too...

Have you stayed at the ES South before? I have that booked for the end of July, wondering how it is.

June 14th - 21st here. Surprise trip for the kids, staying at BWPPI and have 6 day hoppers! I can't wait!!

We're getting married May 24, flying to Cali on the 25th, and jumping on a cruise May 26th. We'll get back on May 30th, and we'll probably end up at DLR on June 1, 2, or 3. Sort of playing it by ear.

We just booked arriving June 16th and leaving on the 19th, then we're off to San Diego. We're staying at Ho Jo "Disney View", can't wait!

We will be there [still haven't fully decided on where to stay, but leaning towards Portifino Inns] June 5-8th, then heading over to San Pedro Pier and doing the Disney Land Cruise to Mexico for 7 nights. The kids all know about DL but NOT about the cruise. Who all is going is DH, Me, DD 11, DD 9 DS 7 and his twin DS 7 DD's BFF 11 and DBIL [dear brother in law]. Everyone but our sons and DBIL have been to DL, but only DH, me, and two DD;s have ever been on DCL....So it should be a BLAST. We can't wait.

We are going June 2-7 and staying at the Candy Cane Inn. This trip will be a total surprise for our girls (8 and 10). I'm driving a friend to the airport (she is meeting her family at WDW!!) and telling them we have to walk her to the gate. My dh is leaving the day before us on business and he will bring our suitcase. I can't wait! I've always wanted to do a surprise trip! We will have 4 day park tickets for Tuesday-Friday.

Crowds??? Hoping mid week will help!

We have stayed at many ES before, but most of them you hardly ever see a child...I'm assuming that one by DL would be FULL of kids...and since that is the case how do they handle the nightly managers reception? I would love to know about the pools as well. Thank you in advance.

No, this will be our first time, too! It seems like a great value with b'fast & happy hour! We're going to CA to visit family, so this trip isn't "all about the mouse" like our trip to WDW was last year. This hotel seems like it might be more accessible for other family and friends to meet up with us, too.

We always stay at ES with our 10 year old son. The ones in Orlando are full of kids!!
They always seem like family friendly happy hours to me. The kids get shirley temples or sodas, we just stayed at one in SLC and they had a soda fountain, my son LOVED that!! All the soda he wanted @@. Of course there is the popcorn, pretzels and all the snacks too.
The pools have been different in most of the ones we have stayed in, some good, others not.
So, yes, I'm also interested in hearing more about this ES!
