I know it's been asked before, but BWV vs. BCV

We had the same problem last year looked at both. We bought at bcv because of sab and we could alway walk to boardwalk.

Do you mean 11 months out or 7 months out?
[*]The decor is different but the unit set up is pretty close.
We find the dining room table setup in the BCV which can seat 8 better for us, as well as the desk in the bedroom, and the private water closet. These may be minor for others.

Sherri and Eric,

I hope we'll soon be saying "Welcome Home!" to you guys!

I have some advice for you. Be patient. I am sure you are aware that BCV is in high demand. Don't jump at the first opportunity unless it has the correct amount of points and use year you are looking for. We closed with 250 points in May and that was just about the points we had hoped for. One reason I bought at BCV was because I sense that if you ever need to sell quickly and you haven't traded away or borrowed tons of points, you can sell BCV in about 10 minutes. That gives me some peace. Good luck and Gods Blessings. Dennis

I hadn't thought of that. Good point.

It sounds like BCV is for you! The walk around the lake to the Boardwalk is only 5 minutes. It is actually nice to sit on the quiet beach at the Beach Club and look out at the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk and if you want to be there it is only a 5 minute walk away or if you don't feel like walking you can always wait and take the boat accross the lake.

As for adults liking SAB, it is definatly well loved by adults.

Ditto! We own at BWV & wish we owned at BCV or VWL. We hope to buy a resale too this year. Good luck!

Great points on the resale thing - I mean, reselling the resale. :)

That's also nice to note about the private bathroom. I'm going to have to look more closely at the floor plans that came with the package of stuff from Disney.

I didn't know how high in demand BCV was. I hope we'll be able to buy sometime this year! Do you think that's a reasonable expectation?

Sherri :)

The table was big for us too. I'm sure the the separate toilet will be more important in time. Right now with two little ones there is no such thing as privacy!! LOL!!:o

BWV has specialty units such as the 3 BR, standard view units in general and BW view units. BCV has the 2 queen in second units as a "specialty" unit. If any of these issues are important to one wanting a reservation, it's necessary to use the 11 month window day by day.

Long term, it is unlikely there will be any difference in resale prices. So the idea that BCV will sell better is short lived due to the lower availability, this difference is not sustainable long term.
