I know I'm late but I just saw Bruce Almighty

and I was soooo impressed!!

I saw the trailer MANY MOONS ago and swore I'd never see it mainly because I'm NO Jim Carrey OR Jennifer Aniston fan. I DO like Morgan Freeman, though, since I met him and LOVED him.

Well, I went away with a totally different attitude about the two I thought I didn't like. Jim Carrey was his naturally goofy self but for once it didn't annoy me! And for the first time I saw WHY Brad married Jen!! She's adorable!

The movie was funny and thought provoking. My sister had rented it and told me "watch it, Robin. You'll cry at the end." I couldn't believe it! She was the one who swore she'd NEVER see a Jim Carrey movie. I, at least, saw the Grinch!

LOVED the line "I lost 45 pounds on the Krispy Kreme diet" LOL!!! Don't we WISH!!

It took alot to make me smile this week and Bruce definitely did. My son has added it to his Christmas list!

I just saw it last night on DVD and thought it was pretty good also. Took me awhile to get into it though b/c they had a lot of the stuff in the trailers. I'm not a big Jim Carrey fan at all. BTW I own the Grinch on DVD, but have yet to watch it.

Rented it about 2 weeks ago....truthfully I wasn't impressed. I was expecting a little more, but maybe I just didn't get into it as I was very sick to my stomach at the time, and up and down from the movie to the restroom. That'll teach me to drink so much the night before!!

I like Jennifer Aniston but haven't seen the movie yet. We tried to rent it this week and BB didn't have a copy left.

Both DSs (15 and 13) saw it at the theater and it was their #1 choice for tonight. DH and I just watched Idenity. I'm glad we watched it while it was still light outside. I think Bruce Almighty will be better!!

We rented it last night and we absolutely LOVED it! Make sure you watch the outtakes and deleted scenes; it really adds to the movie. And make sure you notice toward the end when he's at the he's pouring water into a wine glass and the water turns to wine. I wonder how many other little things like we missed. Great movie!

I loved "Bruce Almighty"...it was so cute! I was hoping to see it in the theaters when it came first out but I never got around to it...so glad I rented it - Jim Carrey was adorable, as usual
