I really want to get pictures with the characters too....is that crazy? Everyone becomes a kid again at Dland right? I just don't want to be hogging up time that a child can be with a character but gosh darnit...I want a picture with some of those characters? Are they cool with the adults too? ANyone have any pics of them with the characters? Sorry the child in me is fighting to get out.

Yes you are more than welcome to take pics with the characters.. when we went with my DD..you stand in line..I cannot tell you how many "adults" got their pics taken before the kids..I think it is everyones place to be a kid again..I have pictures with them before the kids..now its me holding her :) Hey when people told me that my DDnow4 was to young @1 to go to DL..I said I;m not going for her (yet) I am going for me..I got strange looks..o well..anyhow a lot of kids don't want to get their pics taken..I see a lot of tears at times..my DD included..so once again..you are fine to take pics :)hth

Pics with the characters are not just for the kids. We jump in and get our pics too. We wait in line and get our pics taken just like the kids.

:) Disneyland isnt just for children, its for everyone. There are so many adults who take Vacations to DL or WDW with no kids, and YES they definately want to meet the characters. Everyone has to wait their turn in line to meet the characters and that includes kids. Everyone is there for the same reason and thats to find the child within. If anything its good patient skills for kids.

There are adults who walk around with character autograph albums hehe just cause they like momentos other then pictures too. I mean I did :rotfl:

It is just DH and myself and we have NO problem waiting to take our picture with the characters. We don't think it's weird at all :) Same thing at character meals too. Sometimes DH and I will just smile and continue to eat but if there is a character we want a pic with we will make sure to jump up and have our picture taken!
Here are a few of ours:

Those pictures are great. I always get pictures when we have the time to do it.

I say go for it!

I don't stand in line for every character but if it is one I really want (Captain Jack Sparrow :rolleyes1 ) I will do it without thinking twice.

Also if there is no line I will get my picture taken with any character. My last trip (Dec 06) there were no lines for any character except for Captian Jack and the Pricesses so I was able to get many Pics while there.

I think it's great that grown-ups have their picture taken with characters! We had a family picture taken with Mickey, but I think that was the only one I was in on our trip last September...

Don't you wish those few grown-ups who sigh in impatience or give strange looks would just lighten up a little? It's Disneyland, for pete's sake!

I used to think that way. That's why it took 25 years for me to finally get a picture with my favorite!

Can anyone say Disney-holic?

Well, these are from WDW, but I never hesitate to stand in line or book character meals...

Notice my autograph book on top of Stitch's head. He was very naughty that day! :rotfl:

Snow White asked if she could have a pic with DH.

I was first to get in line for Alice. I had never met her before.

We support Tigger! LOL

umm, you should see the women in line for the Johnny Depp/Capt Jack look a like in New Orleans square.. women outnumbered the kids by about 5-1.

tough job, but someone's got to do it! :goodvibes
