Hey all!!
I'm 9mths out from our 2nd family trip to the World. I'm super excited as I didn't think we would be going back for quite sometime.
So long story short....I'm already planning ADR's. We have a couple CS we are planning to repeat that we loved (WPE & SS) but want all new TS. Here is my short list.....please advise on your favs. My DS will be 10 when we go and therefore a Disney adult. We will also have the DDP and regular passes (no park hopping).

50's PTC
Sci-Fi
Akershus
CDF
Teppen Edo
Tutto Italia
1900 PF
Ohaha (B/D)
Kona
Rainforest Cafe
T-Rex
Raglan Road
WPC

We are also hoping that Be Our Guest will be open..but not sure what to expect.

50's PTC (never been, don't really like the idea of the home cooking food)
Sci-Fi (great for atmosphere and I am sure your DS would enjoy-good burgers and shakes type of dining)
Akershus (have only been for breakfast with princesses)

Teppen Edo (we go every trip DD loves it)

1900 PF (went once for dinner and didn't care for-good character interaction)
Ohaha (B/D) (enjoyed both breakfast and dinner)

Rainforest Cafe (have been to both locations and always enjoyed ourselves)
T-Rex (this is a fun atmosphere that DS would enjoy)

I am planning 9 months ahead too and already have all my ADRs planned out for which park days. We just don't know which park days will be which day of the week yet. Half the fun is the planning!!!!!!!

Of your short list, I would definitely recommend 'Ohana for dinner (so delicious!) and 50's PTC. I thought the home cooking was tasty and the atmosphere was fun. Sci Fi's food is just okay, but IMO the atmosphere makes up for it I didn't love my Chefs dinner (duck for me, seafood in lobster broth for the fiance), but I think if you stick to the prix fixe, aka what they're best at, you'll enjoy it more.

I would definitely suggest 1900 Park for breakfast. Teppan Edo is a lot of fun. Ohana is a nice family style meal. I would suggest Yak & Yeti instead of Rainforest Cafe if you are going to AK location.

50's PTC - Great Atmosphere, especially if you get a good server interaction (pretty good chances with a 10 year old) and the food though not Victoria and Albert s, is very good park restaurant food.
Sci-Fi - Same food wise as 50s, not mind blowing, but definitely good enough and great theming.
Kona - one of my favourite restaurants, and the kona cone is great, lots of sugar to make you last through EMH at MK
Rainforest Cafe - See TREX
T-Rex - Great theming, HUGE amounts of food, little bit expensive, great drinks,

If your adventurous i would give one of the AKL restaurants a try, and lean towards BOMA, imo the best buffet on site and there is so much choice and new things to try, plus zebra domes, but if you have fussy eaters probably not a good idea

Rainforest Cafe - have one close to home, so is not ever on our list
T-Rex - loved the atmosphere, the food was okay. very similar to rain forest (pretty much the same with different names)
Raglan Road - LOVE LOVE LOVE
WPC - have not tried.

We sure enjoy Boma at AKL. Also just discovered Olivia's at OKW on our last trip.
