Joe Rohde! That's the imagineer that DH and I saw on our last trip, when it looked like he was giving a tour! Very cool! Here is the pic I took of him :

We also saw him on Kil. Safari talking to the same group. Does anyone have any info on this? I wonder what type of tour he was doing...Hmmm...

I think it would be neat to have him walk around discussing ride concepts, and such!

He looks like the head imagineer that designed AK. I remember seeing him during the grand opening celebrations on all the major news stations.

Yup, that's him. And boy am I jealous! I've only met one Imagineer, Bernie Mosher (sp?), through the Dine with an Imagineer program at MGM. I really hope to be an Imagineer someday, but would recommend that experience to anyone who really enjoys Disney parks.

We saw him in Feb. in AK. He was walking and talking with a teenage boy and who I assumed was his mom. There was a film crew with him, and they were being filmed as they walked and talked. I wondered if it was for some Disney channel show. I recognized the guy right off. He has the funkiest earrings!
