I know Christmas is crazy crowded but what if one avoids MK?

We did 12/21-12/27 last year. It was awesome and I'd do it again in a heart beat. Yes, it was very crowded, especially the last 2 days, but it was not as bad as I had feared it would be. We did Epcot Christmas Day and it was awesome. Saw the Candlelight Processional that day. Amazing. I think if you aren't expecting to do everything, you will have a great time!

I hadn't thought of that. I might have to wait until next year. I'd still love to do it

Yeah I didn't even think about that before replying, either. We checked back when the window first opened and again at the 7-month window (may be off on those numbers) but there was no availability - at least with the site we went through. Then again, we went through one of the sites and are not DVC owners.

You can look into going sometime in December. I'm not sure about your availability, but early December is less crowded (more availability) and you can experience the same decorations, shows, etc. without the crowds. You can also check out MVMCP.
