I know..another prayer request...but I know they work!

My dear grandmother has been sick for over a month now. She is 84 yrs old, and lives alone. She is your standard old-timer, that is tough and refuses to take medicine unless absolutely necessary. Well, she has been hurting so bad, she has been on pain pills for way over a month now, and it's pitiful. Even though she has been hurting, she still managed to go to her "volunteer job" at a local shelter. Always thinking of others.

The Dr. can't determine what it is yet, he thinks it may be pancreas cancer. They have found nodes on her lungs too. They are starting tests all over again, and just put her back in the hospital. She hurts so bad and I just can't stand it. I know we all have our time to go, but I don't want her to hurt! She lives 4 hrs away from us, and my Mom just went back down to be with her, even though she is sick herself (cold only!).

So, if anyone has an extra moment in their day, I would greatly appreciate a little prayer for my Grandmother (Gigi to my dd!). Thanks for reading.

PS when DD4 was little, she called her Grammy, my MIL - Googie I don't think Googie liked it much at first but she grew to love it. When Googie died two years ago, my DH's sisters picked out a flower arrangement from the 8 grandchildren. The ribbon said on one side "Loving Grammy" on the other "Loving Googie." I saved that ribbon for DD.
