I've posted on here about my daughters loser ex. With rehab and his dad not wanting him back home he's been 80 miles away for 6 months. For the most part it's been great. My daughter started school and reconnected with her friends and is seeing a nice guy. It's just that feeling that the loser is going to make his way back in her life that drives me nuts. We have mutual friends and hear things. He's tried to talk to my daughter and they've even ran into each other on occasion at the mall and other places. I even worried a while back that he might convince her that he'd changed. She insists that she knows he's the same lying, cheating, alcoholic, abuser and manipulator he's always been. What really hit home was about a month ago the girl he'd moved in with after rehab contacted my daughter to say she was moving out of her apt. to get away from him. He'd beat her up threatened to have her baby taken away (court order no men overnight) said he'd had a dwi, public intox and lost his job. Told her he spent his nights either out or on the computer drinking and talking to girls and told daughter he was obssessed with her. He starts contacting anyone and everyone that this girl is lying etc. We're also hearing that since he has no job is staying with some guy and his grandma and that the drinking is out of control again that his dad is letting him come home wth?? This has my daughter a little freaked out and me too then her best friend tells her that she slept with him last summer. What a sweetheart this guy is. There is really no advice I just wanted to let all this out. I don't think he can get to her again but I do worry. I have never in all my life known of anyone so manipulative, evil and able to con people.

The good news is that your daughter apparently has him pegged for a loser so likely will be immune to his advances.
