hi all,
so i'm on my porch having a smoke(i don't smoke in the house)and there it was a u.f.o. it was huge!i have never seen a u.f.o.(unidenified furry object :earboy2: ) i think it was a possum.i have never seen anything like this.about 25-30 pounds.it walked right by me and it did'nt even flinch.i was terrified, face to face with the man eating, human killing, killer possum and i lived to talk about it.i can understand you subburb folk seeing these things and used to it,but i live in the city, brooklyn to be exact and have never seen one of these before.

I'm so glad your OK! You really shouldn't let people know what you've seen- they'll think you've lost it and put you away for good!! No one will be beilieve you anyway.

In top secrecy I am sending you this image that I took in the 80's of my encounter with a UFO.........

At least with that kind of UFO you don't get probed

Those are the scariest little critters! They are so mean and have no fear. The picture makes them look so innocent.

Yikes! :earseek:

Is that a yawn or a pose right before the attack?

I run over about one on those a week. They are plentiful in NC and they are drawn to car tires for some reason. They will stand on the road and watch you come and then inexplicably run out in front of you at the last minute. I did walk up on one beside my porch last year and it chased me halfway across the yard until I was able to whack it with a broken tree limb. :headache:

PS - The hair on their back stands up and they love to show their teeth and hiss at you if you startle them.

They are also the dumnest varment around. I used to have one that would walk on the top of my wood fence at night, causing my dog to bark like crazy. I'd go out & hose it or hit it with a shovel & it would not leave.

Those critters are very persistant....and scary! If we find them in our barn ( or in our yard) they are shot on the spot ( sorry to all you animal lovers) but my other animals come first, I cant have coons and possum in my barn making my chickens, ducks, quail & rabbits their midnight snack.

:moped: :moped: Run.....Run.....like the wind bullseye.............. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: sorry it must be Holiday stress getting to me.........we used to have racoons climb on our garage to get in the trash and they would just stare at you rather than move on down the road ............... very tricky animals!!

You weren't probed, were you? Just making sure...

When we were trapping ground hogs we caught one. It would not come out of the case. It was daylight and it was ready to sleep the day away in the trap.

I opened our back door a couple of weeks ago to take the trash out, & there was a possum eating the cat's food. My first thought: Wow, the cat looks horrible. :earseek: Then I shut the door really really fastly.
