I Just Saved $372 on SWA!!!!

I am very excited and just had to share. I booked one way tickets to Orlando for our Disney Cruise in February. I had a credit on Southwest that I had to use, so I booked the outbound trip on SW and our return on Spirit. I paid $175 per person for these one way tickets. I have been checking almost everyday to see if the fares would go down and FINALLY today the fares did go down to $82 per person. They are sending me a voucher for future travel in the amount of $372 - YEA!!!!!

Congrats! Can I ask you one thing--did you book online? Was the flight "available" online? The reason I'm asking is our fares have dropped as well. I was unable to get vouchers for the difference because my departing trip was "unavailable" for the lowest fare. I've received credits in the past when this happened and I'm not sure why this time would be any different.

Go look today. My flights for Feb 23 were unavailable for months and this morning they were all opened up. I am flying from PVD . They fare didn't drop but the flights are open now.

I just answered your earlier post on this subject. I want to add that the discounted fares were there when I booked originally, but not available. I had to book at the next highest fare. Finally this morning my flights showed up $93 per person cheaper and they were available for me to book. I originally booked online, but decided to call SW to see if someone would help me. The lady was very nice, made the change and sent me an e-mail with the credit for future travel. It was very easy, but as I said, the flights were available to book.
