Hello,
I don't usually post over here--as I stick to the regular Disneyland board. But I was browsing around and found this trip report that someone posted on the Disneyland Paris board. I have never been to Paris (or Europe for that matter!), but would love to go one day. I have seen a few trip reports featuring Disneyland Paris and love the look of the park and the Disneyland Hotel there. The hotel is stunning, and the food looks so amazing!

So check out this photo-rich trip report of a solo trip to Disneyland Paris:

Wow, I heard Euro Disneyland was slow but that empty, incredible.

The pictures are great a very well mixed comprehensive look at the resort.

I know! Can you believe how she rode all those rides by herself? It was almost a little eerie, but cool all the same. I have a friend who has been to Disneyland many times and went to Disneyland Paris last year. She said certain parts of it are so beautifully done--like the castle and the haunted mansion--which is more gothic looking than our HM. She also said that the Paris Disneyland Hotel is just so beautifully decorated--and the food amazing.

When she has the shot looking down MS to the Castle empty, that's one thing. But from the Hub back and it's empty that was incredible. All those rides in a row without anyone else, that was magnificent.

Some parts of the park are great. But some things glaringly missing. Our mansion is right though. It's a plantation mansion since it's in NOS. Makes sense.

Ive been to DLP loads of times as I live in UK and can assure you those pictures are very very unusual.
DLP can get as busy as DL/WDW and there can be queues of over 2 hrs for rides.

EMH is given to all disney hotel guests on most days for 2 hrs before the park opens usually from 8-10. Only certain rides are open and it gets busy from about 9am when most people go in. By goin gin at 8 you can often get quite a few rides done without queues (Ive done Peter Pan 4 times in a row) but Ive never ever seen anyones TR with a totally empty park like that - she was just very lucky

The park is very beautiful with loads of hidden corners to explore. (But so is DL as well)
It has its own unique feel to it and is well worth a visit if you can.

The haunted mansion is in Frontierland as its links in with the story of BTM - the whole of Frontierland is based on an old wild west town of Thunder Mesa and the owners of the mine (where BTM is based) lived in the house til tragedy struck.

I agree with you about our mansion! And of course I will always be bias towards Disneyland in California!:goodvibes

Thanks for that information! I find it so interesting.

Thanks Lisa for sharing this! I almost never look at this board either, but I'm so glad I did:thumbsup2. DLP looks SO pretty.
