I just ordered custom M&Ms for Christmas

I can't believe I did this. I spent $107 when you add in taxes and shipping, and it averages $5.40 per box. I figure they will make cute little gifts!
Anybody ordered them before? How did they turn out?

I ordered them for favors for my wedding. I had our names and the date put on them. They turned out really well I thought.

I thought about it but didn't have a good enough occasion worth it! A wedding or anniversary would be a great idea. I told my son Michael and my sister Michelle about it and they said their initials were already on the original!!!

The advertisement to order them has been sitting next to the computer since Sunday's paper came out.

Mrs. Mugg & I have had a lively (and at times extremely humorous) debate about just what message we want to plaster over our M&Ms, and who we should send them to.

The comedic possibilities are just off the scale, and I haven't found anything on the web site about words, phrases or messages that they will not publish.

I ordered these for my husband from our new son for Fathers Day. They said "(Son's Name) Loves Daddy" and "Daddy is Great". His baptism was the same week so all the family was over at our house and everyone really loved the M&Ms.

I just found them--looks like a minimum order is 20 unless you do the special arrangments with the 4 pack and a card....

Anyway to order less?

We got them for a co-worker's retirement party. Very cute... she loved them!

Yes, you can choose the colors... we got lilac and cream to match the color scheme of the retirement dinner. If I remember correctly, you may have 2 lines with up to 10 letters on each.

When you are creating them you can experiment with color and script since it will allow you to preview your selection before you actually submit the order.

If you have a MyPoints account, check the website for a link. I received one of those MyPoints emails a couple weeks ago with special earning potential for the custom M&M's which is what made me think of it, so hopefully they are still offering the points.

20 boxes?

If you buy the boxes or their little gift bags, the minimum is 20 (total 32-35 oz.), for $75-85. If you buy 7 oz bags, the minimum is 4 (28 oz.) for $46. That's what we bought. We set them out on tables in color coordinated dishes and had enough for 17 tables.

You could always purhcase them in the 7 oz bag and then put them into littles gift bags or tins from the dollar store... just a thought.

I looked into doing them for our Marching Band Banquet but it would have been about $1000 for our order, um, no sorry. I would have bought a big batch of them for $20 if they had them. I didn't want a gift box just a bunch to put in a dish on the serving line.
