I have been battling in regard to a payment for something in my office for about 2 months now. Going back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. Got to the extremes that I found the original paperwork for the item from 3 1/2 years ago and we got the copies of the cancelled checks. Finally talked to someone today and I told this person, on the receiving end, that we can't pay this bill because we already paid for a 3 year contract and the contract was up. They were telling me we had one more year of the contract. (It was a contract that it was discounted if we did it for 3 years and they were trying to charge me $100 a year for cancelling before the contract was up).

Well guess what.....I WAS RIGHT.....

I very rarely get to be right, even when I am and it was so great to hang up the phone and literally go....na na nananana na!!!!!

Thanks for letting me gloat - I needed that today!!!!

Doesn't it feel good?

Stephen is building me some shelves. Not normal shelves, but from a picture in Pottery Barn.

I have been helping him, and have had some great ideas on how to put it together, finding hardware (he wants to be able to take them apart) and dimensions. I got 4 things right in one afternoon, and I never do that. I was gloating at Home Depot last night. A man walked past us and heard me say I got it right again (where to find wood glue) and he said, "They never let you forget it, huh?" It was very funny.

Anyway, congrats on being right.
