Ok I have a neighbor that about a year after we moved here got divorced about 6 years ago. Any way during the first year they fought and fought and she was so nasty she would bring it out in the open in their yard. Everyone could hear she was bad and mean to her dh now EH.
For the first year she worked at a fast food place then quit and never worked again, she says all the time that her ex owes her and should support her and she can't work b/c of her kids which are in school. I think that is a load of crap but anyway.
So today she was telling me that she is disabled b/c her ex left her a single mom and she had to work for that year and now her feet hurt b/c of that and it is all her ex's fault. B/c he left her a single mom and she had all the sacrifices and had to work for a year so now she is disabled from having to do all that. Plus she says that the kids hate him for what he did and she will make sure he never sees them again.
I told her that if that was the case I would have been disabled at the age of 20 as I was a single mom for 10 years with no child support and at least you get a good amount and your ex has done what he can to see the kids. I also told her from what I saw he wasn't a dead beat but they just couldn't be together. She said I was wrong and listed stupid stuff for why he is a dead beat like refuse to give extra money and not let her have her way or refuse to not have the kids just b/c she doesn't want him to have them.
I'm still blown away with the fact she actually thinks this is her EH fault that is is disabled (which is questionable since I haven't seen where she is, I could be wrong but still) and she threw in the fact that it is not b/c of her weight for the position she is in (she is close to 300lbs).
