Why are so many older threads being bumped up to the first page again?

For awhile we had some really interesting conversations going on. But now we seem to be back to the meaningless dribble we were at weeks ago. Seriously. What happened?

I've noticed that too. We did have some good conversation. I posted something really intresting and nobody bothered to read it, they were busy posting on other nonsense threads. Sorry if I offended anyone, its just I got annoyed...

and there's usually about one new post on it.

I noticed that a couple days ago. I'm not sure if I'm one to blame for any meaningless threads however, because I can't judge whether the threads I've started (that mean something to me) are considered meaningless. If I am one to blame than I'm sorry. But I have found myself looking for a descent thread and can't find one. Ah well, I'm sure a new batch of "interesting" threads will be baked soon lol.

Some old threads have a purpose of being brought back and some don't. We have yet to see any old threads brought back with a purpose, heh.

Lol, when I started reading your post I thought you were going to say you were actually talking about me when you indicated that there were meaningless threads lol. I was very relieved to read on, heh. Thank you for thinking it was a worth while thread! That is very reassuring, especially coming from someone I respect on this board.

I really enjoyed that thread. Possibly one of my favorites in the past few months. It seemed like the whole TB actually had something important to say on that.

I think some threads are great to bring back. But a lot of the ones that are being brought back now "died" for a reason lol.

I don't care if any of the threads are bumped up...as long as they aren't something that has no purpose, an answered question or a thread that got out of control.

i don't really mind if someone bumps up a thread if it's interesting just not when something comes up from ages ago... i remember a couple of months ago someone bumped up a thread about how old you are which was from about 1999 (i think probably 2001)
