I Just got the BIGGEST surprise!

OMG - I am so excited! What a welcome surprise I just received........

I met (on the boards) a wonderful DISer back in early January of 2002. We met on the WISH 'thread' which was then part of the Inspiration Board. We became instant friends and realized that we had so much in common besides our desire to get healthy and lose weight. We never communicated 'personally' - only on the boards and thru many, many emails.

My wonderful DIS/WISH friend is Vija (PRINCESS VIJA) and I just received a phone call from her! It was so neat to hear a voice to put with the pictures I have of her and the kindness that I already know exists in her heart!

It was funny because when I answered she said hi Jody this is 'Via'. And I said WHO? She once again said 'Via'. Then it hit me ----- In one of those many a emails she told me that the 'J' in her name was silent! So Vija actually sounds like 'MIA' with a V!

What fun. It's funny but I've always pronounced her name via. It must be that Tex-Mex influence I grew up with.

It's fun "meeting" other WISHers and it's fun talking with them too

That is so very cool. There are some people that you instantly click with. I can't wait to hear when you two finally meet. I will tell you something about the DIS...I have met a few people here which I know that no matter what...we will be life long friends...I can't see it being anyother way.
