I just got scammed!

Ok, I guess I knew better but somebody just stole my new helmet. They were going to trade for a bird hat but wanted to try the helmet on first.

Of course I trusted the person and they stole it.

They took off and then took me off their list so I could not follow.

Dumb me I guess.

PM me if you want their name to watch out for them.

I don't know if it will help to know their name but PM me with it....the guy who scammed me I never saw again with any of my characters but a few DISers have but not in a long time....I think what they do is trade the stuff to another character and then play that one.

Sorry this happened to you...it really bums you out!

Oh Iris, I am so sorry that happened to you! I have such a hard time understanding why people are so mean, even on a game! Imagine what a miserable person they must be in real life! It almost makes me feel sorry for such a person!

Anyway, I don't know how long that helmet will be for sale, so in case it doesn't last long, we'd better get you another one right away. I have a mule loaded up and ready to go, and he'd be happy to get you a new one if it hasn't been replaced yet. Just let me know!

Thank you so much for the offer but I was able to trade with another very kind and generous member, CL_Maltoo. So I now own the helmet again and this one is staying put!! LOL.

Yes, I guess I would like to believe that there is good in most people and I was just dumb enough to trust this person this morning.

I am much better now but I was very upset earlier. I have lived and learned as they say.

Just an FYI~it seems as many of you already know this character on the game so hopefully that person will be banned soon, hopefully forever. Also, this happened at the Jungle Cruise Dock early this morning. I did send the report and hopefully action will be taken against them.

This is why you don't let ppl borrow your stuff to see how it looks on them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get it in your head, but i did the same thing. I let them borrow the seagull hat and he let me borrow the space helmet. He stole it VMK did nothing they never do (just to let you know) I got the better end of the deal. you wondering why?? I traded the helmet for the super rare green flips!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And then i went on the dis said i would trade and i got : seagull hat, gold rope, five mickey pumpkins, vip code, tent room and haunted mansion room code (he is getting that in November.) I trust him because he is a CL (not giving name) but you never ever never ever never ever let someone try on something that is yours. sometimes it turns out good like mine and some times it turns out bad. thx for reading. love vmk. name is wildtiger maybe Ill see you someday!!
