Back home now in the Great White North literally. I will do a full trip report with pics etc but just wanted to say wow. Had a great time but I thought it was busy compared to other times I had been before. People are so stupid as I will explain in the trip reports and I met a cute guy while I was there. BTW I will NEVER DO MVMCP AGAIN!!!!

Hi! I just got back too. I agree...on the weather and MVMCP. I have been to special events (including MVMCP) in the past. The Christmas Party was the only downside to my trip. I was disappointed they sold soooooooooooo many tickets. Everything else was absolutely perfect!! I can't wait to read your reports.

We've never done MVMCP because we just did not feel it would be worth it. We live in Western New York and were at WDW for a day and Miami for 5. So a week ago we were sitting at the pool all day. Today I'm going to dig out my driveway... I'll keep an eye out for your trip report.

We came home yesterday too. It was busy, but the worst of it was over by the 14th. MVMCP was awesome and just as low crowd as in 2003 and 2005, when we went before. Once the day park crowds left the park at 7pm, the MK was quite managable and very magical. We went to the MVMCP on the 14th. Everyone talks about the Tuesday MVMCP being low crowds, but honestly, I have found that the Sunday MVMCP is lower, mostly because they rarely offer additional discounts on those nights and the locals have to be at work on Monday mornings. Sometimes, that extra $5 or so that it costs without the discounts pays off in pixie dust and lower crowds. People are stupid, even at Disney. I met a cute guy too. He's gay and his name is Manny. He was taking some amazing shots of the hat at DHS. I am looking forward to getting to know him and his partner better. We exchanged email addresses.

I am glad that you had a good time. We did too, it was a very different vacation than our usual, but it still had some special moments that we will never forget. I look forward to your trip report.

I love this time of year at WDW as far as the decorations and weather is concerned.......but the crowds at the MK during Christmas week were beyond insane.

You must've gotten the blanket o' snow that hit NY a couple days ago. My friend (who is currently stuck at La Guardia due to weather issues) adamantly/loudly informed me about it just a few minutes ago. We're about to get a little blizzard ourselves in a day or two. Boooooo.

Winter should be illegal.
