Was thinking the Hard Rock at Universal. Saw some for WDW, but trying for the free ticket at Universal from the superbowl last night and maybe we can really have a nice getaway.

But I don't think I'll get anything because I have to go to work! Waaaahhhh!

WDW for our Oct trip, although DH will be in CA for 3 months starting may so I might check that also. The only hotel that pops up for WDW when the clock starts for my dates is All stars which I would take if we didn't already have the option of DVC. Will only book WDW if we get deluxe. Where is San Fran are you looking? My DH will be in Petaluma so I'm thinking of escaping for a long weekend and leaving the kids with my sister!

We went down the list...Paris, Hawaii...airfare is crazy expensive. I can get to SF for a reasonable price and loved it when I went a few years ago with friends.

When I did it last week I got in with the clock and the only hotels onsite that poped up were the all star ones so I didn't book it I just kept trying different dates and then the clock would run out, but when the clock isn't ticking a lot more show up.

We already have a DVC stay booked for the end of June too. I stayed in Union Square, but I am thinking since it will be me, hubby and the kids I will try to find something in Fisherman's Wharf. It reminded me of DTD. I went to Sonoma and Napa Valley too...gorgeous!

I really loved the city and the surrounding area. I was only there for a long weekend though and vowed to make it back someday...
It's a very romantic area, good place to celebrate an anniversary! Good luck!
