I just bought a Wishblade!!!

I did not realize how much money I had built up in my PayPal account... so when I realized I had enough, well, I just HAD to get a Wishblade! I am selling my Quickutz and Typist Alpha on Ebay to help fund this new toy, lol. I won't be needing it anymore after this!

The Wishblade hooks up to your computer. You can use the software that comes with it to cut the fonts that they sell OR you can cut any font installed on your computer using Word. There are tutorials on how to do this, but it is not difficult. Some fonts cut better than others and they do NOT connect. If you wanted to do a script word and have it connect, you would have to go in and trace it. There are a couple of groups that have tons of free things that they share. I haven't tried the tracing thing yet, but I am very anxious to try it. You can cut letters as large or small as you want. I have several layouts that I need to post to 2ps using it. I do have a few there now

Last thing. I just checked their website and it says you can use your ownn designs. There was a cheaper version that Xyron came out with where you have to use their stuff, though. That may be where the confusion came from.
