I just bought a Sony a700

I am at the beach and hubby and I walked into the Sony Style Outlet and found the a700 package with a 2 year extended accidental (includes dropping etc) warranty for $1085.00. oh and no sales tax so that is even better!

We bought it, and I am usually Cannon all the way, but I am in love!!

I am amazed at the sharpness of the pictures and I love the huge lcd on the back.

Apparantly, my hubby has been researching the camera ever since I saw some really nice pictures on this board and showed them to him. He was plotting to get it all along, but for that price couldn't pass it up...

It is cloudy and nasty today so I don't expect to get any nice pictures, we only have the pictures from when we were goofing around with it yesterday. Hopefully the weather clears up so we can play with our new toy.

Does anyone have any tips or technique secrets they want to share??

you might be surprised today,

actually cloudy is better than bright sunshine it gives you a more balanced softer lighting to work with..
