I finally found something to inspire me to do my first scrapbook ... I've always loved the pretty scrapbooking supplies but didn't have any idea of anything to do with them. But I really want to scrapbook our vacation.
I think I have a pretty good idea what to do and have found lots of helpful websites, but: when I was at WDW I bought a little box of scrapbooking embellishments with Disney characters on them. It has stickers, brads, ribbon, and some wooden things that are like tags that have little round holes in them. They are shaped mostly like circles or flowers and are natural wood colored with a rub-on featuring 1-2 characters on each one. The are about ¾-1½" across. Some have the hole in the center and some near the edge.
What are the wooden things and how do I put them on my scrapbook pages? Are the little holes for setting them with eyelets or to tie the ribbon through? Do I attach them with the brads? I don't think that would work very well aesthetically. If it's for eyelets, do people usually do something to cover up the top so you don't see the hole?
I swear I've spent hours on the Internet trying to figure out what they are, let alone what to do with them. I've found plenty of pages about how to set an eyelet, but none that told me what the purpose of such a thing might be, they just show how to set the eyelet through the paper. I feel like I have a good grasp of paper and tags and borders and stickers and layouts and pens and paper cutters, and even brads and die-cuts, but eyelets and these wooden things escape me.
Thank you!
