<font face "comic sans ms"> I have all the presents wrapped, the tree is up, and I am ready to start packing tomorrow. I am going to try and leave early on Sunday. I've been making my packing list for a couple of days now. I find it's best to work on a list for a while before I attempt to pack. I won't forget as many things that way.

I would like to leave tomorrow, but I would have to wear the same outfit every day and I think everyone would be sick of me.

Livia, the turducken was delicious. I will tell you all about it at Dis-Con.

I just walked in the door from a fabulous Thanksgiving Day dinner at my mother's house. The food was delicious, and we all had a wonderful, wonderful time.

I missed seeing and talking with my favorite nephew (only 2 years younger than me ) who is visiting from Denver. He's been here all week but we kept missing eachother. His father is my step-brother, and his parents are divorced, so he has to split his time between the two families. Anyhow, I really wanted to sit down and chat with him for a while, but it just didn't work out this time. Oh well, looking forward to seeing him again next year.

I hope all of you had as wonderful a day/night as we did.

I had a lovely Thanksgiving with my brother. We haven't seen eye-to-eye on a number of issues for a number of years. But we really bonded this time. I think he finally figured out that his younger brother was a pretty good guy (maybe it was because I went into major help mode for the wedding of his daughter). When it was time for me to head back home, we were making plans for Christmas, which in itself is amazing.

The wedding, by the way, was beautiful. It had just stopped snowing right before the ceremony, and the white on the evergreens really made it a fairy tale setting. It was also freezing, but when I saw my niece in her all-lace wedding gown, it really didn't matter. Unca Steve was very proud.
