I'm actually finding his speech very statesmanlike and yet still very moving. Sorry about your soaps, though.

I am looking forward to 'Lost' this evening too, though-just to take a break from the election coverage.

It was very moving, I agree. I did feel bad for him and think he handled his speech in a very commendable manner. I also commend his obvious adoration for his family.

I still wish I could watch my soaps though...lol. But I'll feel the same way when Bush comes on in a minute.

I think I'm just tired of all the fighting and the political uproars! Its nice to just stop and focus on something as frivalous as As the World Turns!
