Hi,

I need help in choosing a Wishes vow renewal or escape? I know about the money but I was wondering why everyone choose the one they did? Here is a little info about us, we have been married seven years and next Christmas my hubby ships out for Iraq so when he gets back we are renewing our vows for our tenth. I will have to make all the choices while he is gone so before he leaves I want to know what he would like, so we have looked at cakes and flowers even though I can't book for awhile but we going back and forth on Escape vs Wishes!!!!!!! I am not sure how many family will show up, they are all from up north in New England but I know if I go small they will all come and we will go over the number of people we can have. I have tried asking and both families give the its so far away answer. I need some tips and info or advice would be great. :flower3:

Thanks

I think, besides cost, the number of guests you have will be your deciding factor.

You can easily do an Escape and add a bunch of extras to come up to that $10k minimum...but you can still only have 18 people (plus you and your DH).

If you think you are going to have more people than that then you might have to "push" them a little harder for an answer. Maybe print out information on activities and hotels and everything that Disney has to offer. "Convince" them that they could make it into a mini-vacation for themselves as well. All this just to get an idea of the number of guests...

If after that people still balk, then tell them you will have to limit the number of people attending. Then make that choice of who you will invite and who you won't...limiting it to the Escape number of guests.

You can actually book an escape and change it to a wishes fairly easily. So you might plan an escape now and then as the time approaches and more people want to come (and you want them to) you can change your mind.

Thanks so far you have both given me some great ideas. It is good to know that we can upgrade if we need too!!!

Thanks
