Don't know what the Disney home store is, but I was there is January, and there was a store in MGM that had tons of stuff for the kitchen. Don't know the name, but it's on the right hand side as you walk in.

It's Celebrity 5 & 10 on Hollywood Blvd. They have tons of Kitchen and Home items.

I'm glad that I know that, I shall look in MGM or the Contemporary. I was telling my husband how you can ship stuff back really easily, and I had plans in the kitchen store. I don't think he was too impressed as 'we can't get it in our suitcase or it's too fragile to take back on the plane" has always been his line of defence when I shop at WDW.

Oh, ok. Makes sense. I never remember the names of the stores I shop in. LOL
But there is a store on Main St. USA that I always go into to purchase a few kitchen-themed items.

You will see items in every park and resort now, rather than the majority in one store downtown.
Personally I like it now because if I see something I buy it at WoD to get a 10& passholder discount!
Disneystore.com is now Disneydirect.com. The name was changed when the brick and mortar stores were sold.

Yep.. I was going to say that. So don't fret. We saw tons of kitchen stuff there. I was going to buy some kitchen stuff, but it wasn't in my budget.

Ok...from what I have read on other Disney sites the store is TEMPORARILY closed to expand the candy store but should be re-opened late spring. It will be much smaller but it will still be there.
