I heard a SAD RUMOR!!!!

I am 21, in the process of buying my own place ....and all i ever wanted was my disney kitchen!! So I'm going down in May, saved extra extra money so I can get all the cute stuff in the Disney home store......AND I HEARD THAT IT CLOSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IS THIS TRUE???

If it is, is there any other store that is going to be selling these items?????? Please help!!!

Sorry - I is true that the Disney Home store closed, but there were many stores that still had kitchen and bath stuff. Mousegears in Epcot, some store between Dinoland and Asia on the main path, of course World of Disney, and I'm sure many more. You'll still be able to find some of the home stuff. Have you looked on disneydirect.com? They have home stuff too.

Don't know what the Disney home store is, but I was there is January, and there was a store in MGM that had tons of stuff for the kitchen. Don't know the name, but it's on the right hand side as you walk in.

I've even seen Kitchen stuff at the store at Internation Gateway - the Epcot exit to the Beach Club/YC and Boardwalk hotels.

We got kitchen stuff at another store in DTD last summer - sorry but I don't remeber what it was called.

They moved much of the stuff from Disney At Home into World of Disney, so you can still have your Disney kitchen.

No it was the one in the marketplace.......gosh it was packed everytime i was there!! Anyone have any clue as to why it closed???

I was in the WoD store this past January and I remember seeing most of the stuff that used to be in the Home Store there.

I am disappointed that it closed. On every trip we would stop in there and I would pick up little things for around the house.

It closed because they are relocating the wildly popular Goofy's Candy Kitchen store there--- they needed more space. You will find much of the same merchandise at the World of Disney in the area where the men's attire was located. You will also find the same merchandise in shops in all of the parks.

They didn't get rid of it, they just redistributed it. Don't know what will be located in the area that Goofy's is vacating.

BVG in the Contemporary had a lot of kitchen stuff in Nov. Also, those Disney catalogs we get every few weeks always has a lot of kitchen stuff, too!
