Oh wow I was so happy to find this scrapbooking section!!! :cool1:

We're going Sunday for the first time to WDW. We live an hour away and got passes so we plan to take several day trips a month and occasional overnights.

So anyway... I want to make it into "Our Year of Magic at Walt Disney World" theme scrapbook.

I can't decide if I want to divide it by calendar months or by the 4 theme parks. Any advice or other ideas?

Also, any good websites for free Disney printables that I can add?>>> budget scrapper here.

Finally... we're going on my birthday next week and because I am a passholder I get a gift card for the price of admission. Where is a good Disney owned store in the park with scrapbooking stuff so I can spend it?

Thanks!

Last question first - depending on which park, MouseGear in Epcot, or the Emporium in MK.

Since you're going to call it "Our year of magic" i'd divide it by months. That would enable you to have 'mixed park' pages. Other themes may emerge as you visit more times - for example one time may be all about food, or another time characters, etc. And so you might have an ice cream on main street photo, and a Teppen Edo photo and oh a Cape May charactor Breakfast photo and they can then all go on the same page, in the relevant month.

Have a great time! Wow...a year of magic, that sounds great! :thumbsup2 I agree with the PP, I would divide your album by months. I am not sure about free printables, but I try to include as much "actual stuff" from the parks that I can into my book. I always include park maps, resort maps, etc. I have pages that include receipts, unused fast passes, and airline tickets. On my Mickey ice cream bar page I included the wrapper from the bar because it was unwrinkled and mess free. :lmao: Basically I try to include as many found objects as I can because I think that will make the book more interesting in years to come. I always think it is neat to look back at DL/WDW from the 50s and 70s, now my son will be able to do that with our trip. The best part is, all this stuff is free!

The scrapbooking store in Downtown Disney has lots of stuff, but none of it is really unique. It is the same old stuff you would find elsewhere but with Disney prices.
