It just is not working i updated macromedia shockwave and it told me to restart the computer so i did but nothing so i removed it and dowloaded it again then it still says to restart the computer which i have done a lot of times but still a black screen appears can someone help me get back on?

keep your pop up blocker off and other things off (eg. firewall, etc. )
wait a really long time it will pop up and there you go it worked for me :thumbsup2

Does VMK start to load at all? like the normal loading screen with the blue bar?
I would uninstall Shockwave from Windows add and remove programs and then make sure you arent running ANYTHING (virus, firewall etc. and reinstall shockwave)

and like others have said if you get the BSOD just let it sit for a few minutes and see if it comes on.

ok it is a black screen and i waited almost half an hour last night but it stayed the same

Empty your cache and delete your cookies. It usually helps.

qruthie (the 'q' is silent)

Ive had that and ahd to redo my full computer veen though it says the same thing

In english plz lol only jk i understand it sort of. anyway i have already cleared the cache deleted all online and offline files and also all the cookies nothing :(

You could remove the program and add it again.

I updated my shockwave once and it did the same thing, what I had to do is go to system restore and restore my computer to the previous day and just not update the shockwave.

Just a possibility and maybe something else to try:

Not long ago we could not play "yeti vision" on my youngest daughter's computer. We could before but it suddenly stopped updating. Each time we tried to start it, it would say "updates failled" and of course we could not play.

I tried everything I could think of short of a new computer. Then the other day I wanted to do a virus scan on her computer and check out her other Virus protection programs. I noticed a tab on her firewall portion that had website addresses that were allowed access or blocked. Low and behold, Yeti Vision.exe was "blocked". I never blocked it, she never blocked it but somehow it had turned up blocked. We changed it to allow full access and of course we can now play again.

It may not be related, but something else to check.

I made typos yes here is english lol

When I had this error i did system restore it didnt work because it said i needed an updated shockwave so I used my brothers working computer untill i found out i needed to redo the computer

That happened to me once. Alright, when my computer did that I did a spyware search on my computer, and I went to control panel-remove/install- and then I removed Macromedia Shockwave from my computer. After that, I went to vmk again and installed Macromedia Shockwave. Once it installed, I waited about a half-hour, and then I tried to get on again. (The black screen came up), so i just kept logging myself in and I finally got the black screen to go away.

Try that, it always works for me.
