I thought everything was settled when I saw on the DIS that the S/D had the $99.00 Nurse rate....then things got a little crazy  !!! I have a WL Honeymoon suite on hold for 3 days 10/3 to 10/06 along with the Swan balcony room from 9/28 to 10/03! But am thinking about switiching it to the Swan club level and the POFQ for the last 3 days. Any advise???????

What do you expect for Swan CL. I got upgraded once and if I had paid cash for this I would have demanded a refund! Limited hours, limited services and limited selection pretty much sum it up. The lounge is open for a few hours in the morning for a contiential breakfast. You can get bottled water, but you have to ask and it's the little 8 oz bottles. They are then open a few hours in the early evening with warm snacks and soft drinks/water. Beer, Wine and mixed drinks cost extra. Since they allow lots of folks to upgrade who aren't on CL, it can be crowded. The people who run the lounge don't do priority seatings or provide any other services.

The Swan is a very nice hotel. The CL is a minimal upgrade.

Wow..thanks a lot! I was wondering about the club level. I would prefer to stay in a balcony room anyway. I was reading on starwoods site that there are 2 different balcony rooms, traditional and deluxe. What is the difference??? I have also been reading about the WL HM suite, it doesn't sound that impressive. Humm????? :sad2:

Not a clue! But usually it's view and/or size?

A $99/nurses rate at the Swan is great. The standard rooms are more than $300/rack rate. If you want to upgrade (at the nurses rate), there are many suite options available. They will have balconies and some will have king beds.

Great thing about the Swan--location. You can walk/boat to Epcot and MGM. The Boardwalk is right there. The whole area is a little more adult oriented than the MK area. The heavenly beds are awesome. The grotto pool can be a romantic spot under the waterfall. They have spa services. The CMs are great. The Swan has a concierage desk in the lobby that does priority seating for all the guests. They are very good about getting you into some of the more popular spots. Plus there are some fabulous restaurants at the Swan/Dolphin: Fresh, Blue Zoo, Palio, and Shula's.

thank you!!! Now we are deciding which to stay at...and what type of room. The great deal expires on 10/03...we still have 3 nights left to our honeymoon. Might add on somewhere else.
