I'm a single DVC owner and when I stay at a DVC resort they are plenty of towels for me to last a long time.

On vacation, I seem to want a new towel more often than at home. Luckily, there are usually 4 bath towels in the master bathroom, so that's plenty for me. DH is fine with his one (I need to throw his into the laundry when I think it's had enough! :) ) I never re-use the wash clothes, but no one else really uses them except me so, again, there is usually plenty. Hand towels are somewhat different. I always keep paper towels in the bathroom, too.

Recently, DH and I stayed 3 nights at ASMu, before checking into DVC, and didn't want mouse-keeping. We had plenty of towels.

I don't think I've ever washed the towels in a villa, but maybe the wash clothes.

Basically, we are usually fine with the towel situation.

At home, once per week will suffice. I agree that it's nice to have clean towels every day when staying at a hotel, but the DVC fourth night deal is fine for me.

I wash towels once a week at home and we each get two towels. I never use a face cloth, so I don't even use them except to wipe up the counter after getting ready in the morning or evening. Kidani dues are going to go sky high if the housekeepers are giving out fresh towels every night.

And please don't take pool towels from the pool to use in your villa. They cost more to launder and that causes dues to go up, too. Just purchase an extra towel pack if you need more. $6 for four bath towels, two hand towels, four face cloths and one tub mat.

We do a load of towels every night because we like having our towels clean every day. I love having the washer and dryer.

I like one every two days at Disney, so I wash them. So how does that save money on dues. Those dryers take like 2 hours to dry and all the water. Wouldn't commercial machine cost less if everyone washes towels themselves instead of just getting more.

And what really gets me, at BW we get 4 towels in a 1 bedroom, but at BLT we get 8. The poly studio gave like 6 due to the two showers.

If BW gave you 6-8 towels per stay that would be great or did trash and towel on 3 rd day. I could go 3 days but 4... Yuck.

At home, I generally wash mine every couple of months whether they need it or not.

:)

Every other day usually for bath towels, every day for hand towels both home and in a DVC unit.
