I have to create a television show...

So for English we have to write a paper as if we're doing a proposal for a new television show about family life. It's supposed to be a satire like Family Guy or The Simpsons. Kind of tongue in cheek, making fun of social problems and etc. We have to create the family, and give a synopsis of family life for them. I have a few ideas, but I just thought this was kind of interesting to share with you guys. What would you do?
