I have to admit that I was wrong when I complained about the size of the lobster at Narcoosee's. If you remember (and I'm not going to bring the thread up to rehash the whole thing) I complained that you didn't get the whole lobster just the claws and tail and that it was a small lobster. Well, I was wrong, the lobster at Narcoosee's had to be at least 2 pounds if not a little more. How do I know? I just had a 1pound lobster tonight and the one at Narcoosee's was bigger by a good amount.

BTW, I did ask the restaurant that I ate at if I was going to get the whole lobster and not just the claws and tail. :rolleyes1

Yeah I remember that thread. Only on the DIS would you find people in a debate over lobster:lmao:

Glad to hear you got a second opinion! But the real question is, if you go back to Narcoossee's, will you get the lobster?:rotfl:

Sure, but the next time I'll say, "I want the WHOLE lobster." ;)

I am morbidly curious about this and your other thread, considering I'm a 20-year vegetarian (not 20 years old, but veggie for 20 years, LOL) who never ever has eaten a lobster (nor wanted to), but I just can't help myself.

And was it a whole "whole" lobster?

Sure, but the next time I'll say, "I want the WHOLE lobster." ;)

One wouldn't think one would have to ask for that, with "whole" in the description, though. Even though if I were at the table next to you I would be averting my eyes and suddenly developing an itch in my ear (so as to cover my ear to not hear the sounds of the shell being opened), I support your right to trust in the name of the dish!

I think I watched Annie Hall at too young an age, which is why I never had interest in those beasts even when I was otherwise omnivorous...:upsidedow

Please tell us, did you get EVERYTHING, or just the tails and claws?
