I have snorkel (Eastern) excursion questions??????

Need help deciding on which snorkel excursion to chose.

If you could only pick one eastern snorkel excursion, which one would it be??
I (think) have it down to shipwreck cove or trunk bay.

Also, which port has the best "walk right off the boat" shopping??
Looking for good shopping near docks.

Havensight Mall is right next to the dock at St Thomas. The ambience isn't as interesting as downtown St Thomas or St Maarten, but you can get anything that you'd find at downtown St Thomas and for the same price.

I agree with Dave that the mall next to the ship in St. Thomas just doesn't get any easier for shopping. However, i thought prices for shopping were generally less in St. Marteen.

Trunk Bay is truly one of the most beautiful beaches on earth. I loved snorkeling there last year - but it is quite a trek to get there, and it will take up pretty much your entire day. But that's what you're there for I guess!

Another vote for Trunk Bay. Wow, that place is just plain beautiful. The snorkling was fantastic, and the scenery was breathtaking. Plus, it's a National Park, so it's protected.

I loved it so much, I'm thinking of taking up scuba so I can go back and do some real diving!
