I have questions about WDW resorts please help

Hi,

I am in need of all your expert help...I am planning a trip to WDW May 13th-16th. We are Florida residents and I have a Five year old daughter. I need to decide on what resort to stay at. We are looking for a moderate price, nice room with a balcony that I can smoke on. I would like to be able to see the fireworks at night from the balcony. Easy transportation to Magic Kingdom/Disney MGM studios. Looking to take my daughter to character lunch/dinner. I would appreciate all and any advice on this....we are new at this and really want to give her a good experience. She has had alot of health problems from being born so premature. Also, any Florida discounts you are aware of. Thanks So Much!!!!

Thank you for the info....I was quoted a rate of 1,500 for three night stay..too expensive for me right now. Any other places that have view of fireworks even if they are offsite of WDW? Thanks again.

You can see some of Illuminations from certain parts of Caribbean Beach - but no balconies at moderate resorts.

Also, supposedly some Pop Century rooms can see Wishes and Illuminations - again, no balcony.

I'd check out the Swan and Dolphin too. With the Allears code you can get a balcony room for just over $200. There are lots of places to see the fireworks at the S/D even from your room.
