Help me,please!

I’m going to DL for the first time (very very very excited);) ...Actually,I’m going to California and I have only one Day to visit DL and DCA!
Maybe 2 days, but I think it’s better to be prepared for only one day…
We leave July 10th,so I think the visit do DL will be like… July 12th ou 13th.
Should I wait for lots of people, like WDW during this same month?
Is it possible to see everything that I want?I was thinking…
DL:
Pirates of the Caribbean
Haunted Masion
Indiana Jones
Storybook Land
Big Thunder Mountain (My brother just loves it at WDW..I’m sure he would like to try.)
Buzzlightyear
Space Mountain
Star Tours
Fantasmic!

DCA:
Aladdin Show
California Screamin’
Monsters S.A
Soarin’
Orange Stinger

Ok,ok,I know is like..A LOT to do in only one day…
But I would like suggestions, any suggestion would help a lot.
I’ve never been to DL but I’ve been to WDW five times..I’m kind of lost,I got so excited when we got the trip booked that now I don’t know what to do!:rotfl2:
Thanks!
(Sorry about any possible English mistake..)

Your English is great!

I am sure you will get lots of good suggestions here. You might want to try downloading Ridemax on your computer www.ridemax.com . It will help you plan your trip by telling you the best times of day to ride the things you choose. It costs $15.00 for 3 month's use. It has good descriptions of all the rides, to help you decide what you would like to do. It also has a lot of tips and tricks to help you.

Good luck and have a great trip!:goodvibes

avalon 451,thank you!Once I download Ride Max,I'm sure I won't even study anymore,it seems very fun!:goodvibes

splash5,thank you too,how could I forgot Grizzly River Rapids??:cool1:

I agree about using RideMax! It's addictive to use AND it works! Also, I'm sure you know this, but the food (IMHO) is not nearly as good as WDW, so aside from the BB, I don't see any sit-down restaurant worth your precious time that day. Make sure to get there (DL) a half-hour ahead of opening (I'm assuming with 1 day, there is no MM for you) and move with purpose to SM, get a FP, then go to BTMRR, and by then, perhaps the Storybook will be open by then. If not, proceed with the others that RideMax has set out for you. Also, try and go to the 2nd Fantasmic that night. Unlike WDW's benches, there is no seating for this, unless you pay $59 for RS seating. Also, the wait for the 1st one can be quite long. Since you have little time - go to the 10:30 show. This means you can go to ELP at CA if you want to. Have a great time!

Avery's mom, thank you so much for the advices!
I was already thinking about going to the 2nd Fantasmic, I was just a little worried if my brother would "survive" this day, but we talked and he seems very excited,so...California, here we come! ;)
What should I expect about the lines in July? (Ok, I'm afraid!LOL!)

Lady Trix,
How old is your brother? If he's very young, perhaps the 2nd Fantasmic would be asking him to do too much? In any event, make sure you read Hydroguy's tips for maximizing your time in high season. Since you are going in July, the crowds will be crazy. However, if you follow the DIS advice you should be fine. Also, collect your FP throughout the day and use them when the lines are at their longest. Take advantage of the indoor shows like Aladdin to give your feet a break and also to cool off in the heat of the day. The DLR hours during your visit should allow you to do everything you want to do. I'm sure you'll have a great time!

Avery's mom,
My brother is 9! The thing is...When I was 9, I was like...Jumping all day long! My trip to WDW in 98, when I was 8, was one of my favorites... I remember my father saying "Please, honey, let's go to the hotel now, otherwise tomorrow me and your mommy won't be able to walk!!" LOL
My brother is more..How can I say? His is like...a calm child! That's the reason I was afraid: he gets tired very easy.(I don't know how to say this in English, I hope that's right!)Taking our last trip to WDW as an example, he enjoyed, but I felt like I enjoyed more, even with my 17 years and all the trips before...
But, 2 years since this trip, he seems more excited, he learned a lot of English since then, so he's all "I want to speak English with everybody!"...Cute, cute, cute!
And I know July it's like..really summer in the US, but the last time we enjoyed a summer trip was September 95!My mom's so tired of packing coats that she is kind of excited about the heat!LOL
Thanks for all the advice, Avery's mom. I worked very hard to book this trip!Disney (based on my trips to WDW) is my favorite place in the world; I just want this trip to DL to be perfect...And I know that here in DIS there's a lot of people who can help me to plan everything in the right way!:thumbsup2
