I have officially gone off the deep end.....

We are leaving in 10 days. I'm working on packing for my DD6. However, I'm spending time going through her panties to make sure that none of the Sponge Bob or Dora ones are in the suitcase! Like they're really going to check & kick us out of the park for her wearing non-Disney underclothes!!!!

Just wanted to let you know you are not alone! I do the same thing, I never let DD wear any other character items when we go on our trip! It feels like cheating!

Don't feel bad. I"m a 14 year old girl and I wear underwear that i bought in disneyworld nearly everyday...I really only have one pair that isn't disney that i actually wear...

I'm the same way... the day we go to MGM...my ds wears Power Rangers t-shirt...or similar things that are there that match each park or the characters he'll see that day at meals !

That is hilarious. I never would have thought of such a thing. Do they do an underroo check now at the gates along with the bag check?

I'm bad, I'm smuggling in Barney and Sesame Street DVDs for my toddler because she doesn't watch any of the Disney shows. Please don't anyone tell on me.

Oh I feel so much better. I thought I was the only one this crazy . We plan clothes, underwear, even games and movies for the trip. Last year we did Universal, so I allowed Spongebob for that one. But, this year, it's all Disney World all the time! So, we're only wearing clothes that are approprirate for such a trip. I do feel better now - when DH laughs at me I know I'm not the only one.

I thought the same thing. However, I did buy some Dora disposable bibs, just because they were so cute. And, she'll be in Pampers, which have the Sesame Street characters. They were on sale. (On a side note for moms of kids in diapers, why did Huggies get rid of the Mickey design, they are all Lion King now?) And her stroller has Sesame Street characters.

But beyond that, I do plan on dressing her to fit the park we are at for the day. Tinkerbell dress for Magic Kingdom, Nemo outfit for Epcot, Lilo shirt for Ohana breakfast, etc. She even has swimsuits with Nemo and Lilo on them.

So, following you right off the deep end!

Does everyone not do this????? OK, our underwear is not disney because my two guys would never go for it but we already have our WDW clothes bag started and our trip is is 8 months away!!!!!!!!!!

The problem I'm running into is we are going to Disney for 10 days and then over to Universal for 5 days and I'm doing wash in between (way to many days to pack for). Well my little guy has lots of Disney clothes, so I need to make sure he isn't wearing any og them over at Universal.

Ha, ha!!! Just the other day, I found myself putting a Dora swimsuit back on the rack at Kohl's b/c I thought to myself, "she can't wear that at Disney World!"

Just diving in to join y'all! Even the coloring books and CDs I've picked up for the kids are all Disney (well, OK, the CDs were really for me, but they like them too!).

This is too funny, I was just at the store today and bought a princess beach towel becase DD only has spongebob for our trip in October! I thought I was the only one

Okay, I'm in on this one, too. I only take Disney shirts for me and DS (he's 9 and over the character undies, but when he had them, they were all Disney for the trip!). I actually have Disney undies that I only wear when we are at WDW. My DH is the chief of a volunteer fire department, so he thinks he can only wear fire dept. shirts. Needless to say, when we go to WDW those shirts just don't make it into the suitcase! His favorite character is Tigger, so he has about 4 Tigger shirts that go with us to WDW. Then, I take fire dept. shirts that I have bought at Disney.

When I see people at WDW with other cartoon characters on, I just cringe. I always think to myself, "Do they not know where they are? Get a clue!" Yes, we are in the ever deepening Disney abyss!!! What a glorious place.

LOL!! I literally just got done bringing the suitcases from upstairs to start packing. I went through the kids tshirts and put all their Disney tshirts in their suitcases already. And their Disney books, hair things etc. We aren't leaving for 3 weeks yet. That probably seems a little strange also!

So..I'm not alone! We're not going until December 2007, and I already have Disney barrettes, hair ties, t-shirts, etc. accumulating in a storage box for our trip!
