hello
I have a few questions.
First if I buy the memory maker with my package but don't check into my hotel till the 13th can I use it on the 12th?
Second can u use the memory maker you purchase with your package at the mvmcp?
Third how long after I take the first memory maker photo is the package good for?
Fourth how long do I have to get my pictures from the site once I take my first phot?

I know this is a lot of questions and I appreciate you answering them and if you have a tip feel free to let me know thank you for your help.

1. You can use the Memory Maker at any time you like after you purchase it, although if you purchase at the advance price any pictures taken in the first 3 days after purchase will not be available with the free download.
2. Yes, you can use it at MVMCP - it will include any pictures taken in the main parks, on rides, at Disney Springs and at water parks. Essentially anywhere you scan your Magic Band or any rides where they automatically capture your picture and put it on your MM account.
3. Each picture will expire 45 days after it was taken so essentially you have 45 days from when the first picture was taken to download your pictures.
4. See above (although you can purchase an extension).

Additional tip: You can share MM with anybody whom you are linked with in My Disney Experience (as long as you tick the box to allow them to see and download the photos) but only you, as the Memory Maker owner can get the free downloads. So, if somebody else has their own MDX account and makes changes to photos (adds borders, etc.), those changes will not appear on your account. So, essentially, make sure all edits are done in the owner's account.

I am confused here, what do you mean by the pictures taken in the first 3 days are not free to download?
I have purchased it with room, tickets and will be using it in December.

If I buy a Memory Maker entitlement at the pre-purchase price today, I can't use it to download pictures I have taken tomorrow.

December is more than 3 days from when you bought your Memory Maker, so you're fine. :)

What I actually said was, if you purchase it at the advance price, any pictures taken within 3 days of purchase are not free to download. Since you don't plan to use until December but have already bought it, you will be fine.

Thanks.
Can I ask u something else please?
Our first day in parks is Dec 21st, we are away for over a month and won't be arriving home until Jan 22nd.
I will not have a laptop with us.
So my understanding is the photos will be available for 45 days , so I intend to download when I get home, so hopefully can download around jan 24th , which is 35 days, so I should be fine. Right?
Also...
We are at CBR, then we are on a cruise and doing Universal and then are at BWI for 4 days before flying home, as this is all within 30 days I will have the memory maker for the 2nd half of trip as well, when I check in , can they check if it is still assigned? We will have different magic bands for the 2nd part.
Never done this before.
I will have a iPad, so can check to make sure photos are there.
Thanks

Yes, your Memor Maker will befine for the second part of your trip. it is essentially valid for 45 days. You can check yourself if it is still assigned as it should be linked to My Disney Experience.

Ok if I piggyback a question here? For ride shots, do you just go up to the photo kiosk, scan your magic band and select your photo? It will automatically be added your album? TIA.

It automatically goes to the MB but i write down the numbers just in case. EVERYone will have theirs pics scanned so you might want to go into your account and delete any duplicate pictures

You don't have to go to the photo kiosk - your Magic Band gets scanned when the picture is taken. You can scan your band at the kiosk as a back-up, if you want.
