My dh and dd(5 yrs old) have been working together this year to make this very special.
DD gave me 2 dozen long stemmed Roses!!!! Dh said she looked and looked at each and evry rose until she picked out the perfect bouquet. There were all kinds of different colors. Yellow,Golden,White,Peach,Salmon,Pink,Red on the inside and white on the outside. All sorts of colors. Dh said she took about 20 minutes to select the prettiest ones!!!
Then this morning she made me pancakes ands arranged them to look like Mickey Mouse!! She (with supervision) mixed the batter,poured on griddle and took them off and put them on the plates.All dh did was turn the pancakes.
At school (pre-K) they have been working for about two weeks on making a cookbook. The kids drew pictures of themselves and told their teacher their favorite recipe (always funny!!) Then they got recipes (real ones!!) from the moms and teachers and had them printed on the computer and hsd them bound into a real book!! They also made pictures of tulips using their hand prints.
Dh also made me a card on the computer and gave me tickets to Wild Adventures (theme park in south GA).
This has been the greatest Day!!!!
