What I think it that there should be a numbering system for when you have more than one teleporter, so you know where each teleporter goes. So if you had like 50 teleporters, and you wanted to know where each one went to each teleporter would have a number both on it and on the name of the teleporter. I will use ned's teleporter from his shop as an example.
As you can see, it has the number one on it and it would say "Jungle Cruise Teleporter - 1" on it in the stuff menu. The other teleporter would say the same thing (I don't have a picture of the emporium, so I can't paint it
) When you trade it, the numbers disappear!
This way, you know where each teleporter goes and you can't get scamed! Cool huh?
