I have gone from one extreme to the other!

OK, so I used to start packing (no kidding) like 2 weeks before a trip! We are now down to 2 DAYS and I am not packed yet!! I only have PILES of stuff pulled out!!

This will be our first trip with our Owners Locker already full and in place...so I am SO much more relaxed about it all. I just keep saying all I have to pack is clothes! But now we're down to 2 days...maybe I've gone too far in the other direction? I have to check in with the airline tomorrow & I know that I have to say how many bags we're checking...hummm.... Me thinks I've gone off the deep end! Maybe it's time to stop procrastinating now?!

You can always buy something you've forgotten. Although, with an owners locker, I'm sure you will be just fine.

we just returned on Wednesday - I had MY piles out for about 10 days. DH packed literally before going to bed the night before we left (we left the house at 7AM, I'm surprised he didn't do it in the AM). The only thing forgotten was HIS toothbrush. Of course I won't let him live this one down You'll be fine - enjoy

We are staying at Beach Club Villas for a week then we are moving to Vero for 3 nights! Both resorts are "new" for us! Just hoping this new tropical wave that came off the coast of Africa doesn't decide to mess with us in about 10 days!! I am going to pack with the Weather Channel on!

It is weird to be THIS not packed at this point...But I am already in love with our Owners Locker tho! I know I don't need any toothbrushes or toiletries or OTC meds etc. No razors or combs or pool bags or anything. It really has felt more relaxing...but it is TIME to get moving...and I pack for ALL OF US...so it's time consuming....

Us too - we leave on Monday (staying Monday night offsite) then three nights at VB and four nights at BCV.

I have piles all over my room. Somehow they'll get into suitcases. But hey as of 6PM today I'm officially on vacation until 8/26.

Hi Anal Annie,
It sounds like your planning with the Owners Locker began long ago. You have your piles so now to just get them in the luggage! It sounds to me like you are doing pretty good.

The thing about 2 days out is there is stuff you can't pack until day off and usually more laundry to do. At 2 days out I can't wait until 1 day out or day of as I feel in limbo.

Just know it will all get done because it has to get done and before you know you will be on vacation! Enjoy your trip and we will keep the storm away for you.

I have never been at BCV either, but with all of the great posts about it, I can't wait to try it! Give us a post or two while you're gone, if possible, or update us all on your experience when you return.

Sounds like OL is really very helpful in simplifying packing. Still have to convince DH which should be easy enough to do on our next trip when we're packing up the car and he's fuming about all the stuff we're bringing

LOL, Annie! I can tell you are MUCH more relaxed even before this trip begins! You should thank Owner's Locker for that! I pretty much did the same thing....I went from packing for 2 weeks ahead to packing the day ahead. It's MUCH easier this way!
