I have come up with a new WISH challenge

I'm sitting here, my husband is still sleeping (he drove straight through to Orlando from Michigan and had been awake since Friday at 4am by the time he got to bed at midnight last night--he needs to sleep). At any rate, I'm bored

So, I was thinking about the weekly check in thread--you all know how much I love that thread. I was thinking that it is kind of sad that we have several hundred WISHers and only a few of us post to the check in thread. Why is that do you think?

So, my challenge: Post to the check in thread. Even if you don't want to discuss your own progress just post and encourage other WISHers.

I'm wondering how many replies the check in thread would get if everyone who reads it would just post an acknowledgement that they had been there. A simple "good job" would do or even just a smilie face.

What do you say? You don't have to be as obsessive about this as I am, just let us know that you are reading and that you care. How about it? Please?

And my dear lurker friends, this would be an excellent time to delurk. We know you're out there and we've been saving you a place. How great it would be to finally meet you

I think that is a GREAT idea Kath (you always have great ones )! I agree that even just a smilie would be enough to encourage me and to help those of us who are posting know that there are others out there.

I plan on posting to the check-in thread tomorrow after my weigh-in but I try to read it everyday just to check on everyone's progress. It is a great motivator.

Hi Katholyn. Great idea !!! Glad to hear that your dh arrived safely at WDW. Debbie just popped into my house to pick up some stuff she sent back with me, and told me about your great visit on Friday. I'm soooo glad that they got to meet you, but I'm really bummed that we had already left for home I would have absolutely loved to have met you!

That is a great idea. Because I have decided to only weigh myself once a month I have not posted on the weekly chech-in thread. I really thought that it was only for people who are weighing in every week. You can be sure that I will post from now. Once a month to post my weight loss and the rest of the time to offer my support to others.

....but I'll be better at it now that there's a challenge. My problem was sometimes it gets so long, if I didn't read it until the end of the week, I was having a hard time getting through it!

I'll read it and post now, that way I can keep up this week!
