Does the leash law include cats?

Someones cat just visited be a little bit ago with no tags. I say someones because it had no fleas, ticks, or ear mites, very healthy except being a bit thin and it was very friendly. It also scratched at my kitchen screen door wanting to come in, I didn't let it in though because I am allergic.

It eventually left, but if it comes back I think I will call the development security, maybe they can find the owner.

It depends on where you live, I believe it is the county or the city you live in that make that kind of law. I doubt it's ever enforced too many places though. However, not having tags can cause the cat to be picked up my animal control, at least where I live.
