I have a question about using a pin...

Hi guys,

Since January of this year, I have gotten the 20/30/40% off a room discount pin code 3 separate times. So I'm going to use it to book my trip in November, which I'm probably going to do tomorrow. As of now, I'm going to book a mod, but if I can, I'd love to upgrade to WL if it's possible...we will see!

Anyway, I just got married almost 2 weeks ago and haven't changed my name yet, but I will begin that whole process this weekend. So I'm wondering...if I book this trip in my name now, with my pin, once I change it, will I not be able to upgrade and use the same pin OR one of the other ones I got because it will be in my maiden name? I'm assuming once I have it booked and I tell them I changed my name it won't be a problem, but I'm wondering if it will be if I want to upgrade.

Do they let you use the same pin if you upgrade to the next level of resorts? If I book a mod now, I'll get 30% off the room and if I end up upgrading, I'd really need that 40% off!

Any info would be very helpful! I'm just wondering how strict they are about this kind of thing...I mean, they are MY pin codes, but I'll just have a different name! I don't see why it should be a problem!

Once you make the reservation with your pin it is attached to it forever, so even if you change your last name it will already be there. I bet all you will have to do is explain it to the CM when you call up.

I booked with my old name and changed it when I got to the hotel! Just took a copy of my marriage certificate! No problem!!

Ok thanks! I didn't think it would be a problem, but then again, Disney is so weird with pins and who can use them, you never know!
