I have a question about CR trivia access

Whenever I try to answer the trivia question at CR, I get a message that says they are sorry, but my IP address has already played trivia. I am not logging on more than once a day. Can anyone tell me what's up? Thanks.

this is new to me so i'm just going to throw out some items which may be causing it and may not.

1) Are you logging in at work? Could there be someone else at your work who also does CR who is logging on and doing trivia before you? If so that could lead to a dup. IP.

2) Is someone else in your family a member?

3) I'm sure you've cleared cookies but what about unplugging your internet connection from the wall and then trying again?

1) No. Using my home computer.
2) No. The Yeti can't use the computer without my help, and my teenager is not a member.
3) Tried this, no luck.

So...today I used internet explorer instead of going thru AOL. Not only was I able to answer the trivia question, but I got it right. I guess I found an answer to my problem. I remembered that for SR and CD I go thru IE, so I figured I might need to do that for CR.

Glad you were able to figure it out. I have heard of issues with AOL. I guess the best thing is to always use IE on reward sites.

Yup, AOL is most likely the issue.

Absolutely. AOL assigns the same IP address to all members! At least that's what my geek friends have said.

Yup... I can't log into my bank account, pay bills, order from most companies, get into my email accounts, or use sunshine, qr, or cr using AOL. Every day it seems there is something else it won't let me use! If it werent for my aol email I would never log on again. I couldn't even sign up for Duck cash on aol because it said the same thing about this ISP being used already.
