I have a pin for 30% off rooms..take it or wait?

I have a pin for 30% off the rooms only. For the time I want to do (may 2015). I have gotten many pins emailed to me. Once a month really. But this is this first time I have gotten one for the time period I wish to do.

The question is do I use this pin, or wait for something better? I have until Jan 30th, 2015 to use it.

I hear pins with free dining is a better deal?

You probably won't see anything better. Why not just make the reservation and then if something better comes along, you can always cancel and re-book?

Do they still offer 40% total package for military?

Last time I went, 3 years ago.. my dad who is non active military.. (honorable discharge).. they gave us 40% off the entire package and we stayed at Coronado resort. We had to stay there, it was the only one they would give us that deal. I actually loved it there.

Anyways.. do they still offer that?

They never even checked my dad's military ID card. He had it with him, but they never asked for it.

Also, does my pin let me book several rooms with the discount for the whole family? or just one room for me? Hopefully it applies to the whole family.. (we'll need 3 rooms)

There are discounts for active military and DOD, but not for discharged vets. I don't know if they're as good as 40% off anymore. Disney has cut back on the discounts over the past year or so.

There is a limit to the number of rooms that can be booked with a PIN code. You can find out by calling. They will be able to tell you what the limit is for your particular offer.

I am sure the answer to my question is somewhere on the boards and we have been to Disney a fair amount in the last 10 years.... and have never received a PIN code. Please share the details of how, when, where... TIA
